1. Mass Responses
We must know our Mass Responses. We should practice these regularly over the next few weeks. The best way to practice these is to go to mass as often as we can!

2. Prayers Before and After Communion
We need to know both of these prayers.
Prayer Before Holy Communion
Lord Jesus, come to me. Lord Jesus, give me your love. Lord Jesus, come to me and give me yourself. Lord Jesus, friend of children, come to me. Lord Jesus, you are my Lord and my God Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. |
Prayer After Holy Communion
Lord Jesus, I love and adore you. You’re a special friend to me. Welcome, Lord Jesus, O welcome. Thank you for coming to me. Thank you, Lord Jesus, O thank you for giving yourself to me. Make me strong to show your love wherever I may be. Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask you to stay close by me forever and love me, I pray. Bless all of us children in your loving care and bring us to heaven to live with you there. I’m ready now, Lord Jesus, to show how much I care. I’m ready now, to give your love at home and everywhere. |

I did not show love when.... and when....and when...
The priest will ask you to say the Act of Sorrow:
O my God, I thank you for loving me.
I am sorry for all my sins,
for not loving others and not loving you.
Help me to live like Jesus and not sin again .
Amen

Opening Hymn: I’m Sorry God
Chorus God wraps us in his love each day, speaks gently to us on our way. Even when we disobey God’s love is always there, God loves us every day. 1. Sometimes God I do not care, I’m selfish and I do not share. I’m sorry God, Now I’ve come to know… 2. Sometimes God I tell a lie, Or hurt my friends and make them cry. I’m sorry God, Now I’ve come to know… 3. When I’m angry, God, I shout, I scream, I stamp and I give out. I’m sorry God, Now I’ve come to know... |
Closing Hymn: Zacchaeus
1. Zacchaeus was a greedy little man, He cheated all the people in the land. When the rent they couldn’t pay, He would take their farms away Or their furniture and ev’rything they had Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, nobody liked Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus was a greedy little man. 2. One day he heard that Jesus was in town A man who loved just ev’ryone around So he climbed the highest tree, For he found it hard to see ‘Mongst the people who were standing on the ground Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, nobody liked Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus was a LONELY little man. 3. Then Jesus came along that very way, And,full of love, the people heard him say, To Zacchaeus in the tree, ‘Will you please come down to me, For I’d love to share a meal with you today.’ Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, nobody liked Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus was a PUZZLED little man. 4. But Zacchaeus was surprised at what he said That one so great should want to share his bread So he climbed down from the tree Asking Jesus home for tea; No more loneliness, but love and joy instead Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, everyone liked Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus was a HUMBLE little man. |
